The re-opening of the fully renovated shrine (Budu Medura) at the 53 Division Headquarters premises in Habarana took place on Tuesday (30). Major General Nishantha Manage, General Officer Commanding 53 Division, amidst 'Seth Pirith' chanting of the Maha Sangha unveiled the statue and the shrine.
On the same day, troops organized an alms-giving to members of the Maha Sanga under the aegis of Ven Agulgamuwe Ariyananda Thero.
