A Bodhi Pooja Pinkama plus an alms-giving to monks marked the 12th anniversary of the 65 Division of the Security Force HQ – Thunukkai during 26-27 December at the Division HQ.
Programmes invoked blessings on all Officers, Other Ranks and civil employees in the 65 Division and transferred merits to those who sacrificed their valuable lives in war whilst serving in the Division. On the following day (27), alms were offered to 06 Buddhist monks.
General Officer Commanding of the 65 Division Major General Tikiri Dissanayake graced the events as the Chief Guest along with Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, Staff Officers, Other Ranks and Civil employees of the 65 Division.
