Quartermaster Commissioned Officers' Logistics Course No 04 Commences at ASL

The Quartermaster Commissioned Officers' Logistics Course No-04, attended by twenty five Warrant Officers of the Army Volunteer Forces commenced on 23 August 2021 at the Army School of Logistics (ASL) in Trincomalee.

The Commandant ASL, Brigadier Ranjan Jayasekara, delivered the opening remarks and explained the importance of learning logistics for a Warrant Officer for improvement of their future military career as a quarter master. As per the course curriculum, existing theories/practices of logistics procedures and a study package of English language with IT are included in the Course.

Thereafter, the Chief Instructor ASL, Colonel Y.K.S Rangika proceeded with a briefing on the course while explaining about the course curriculum and the scheduled activities for the upcoming term.

The Administration functions in ASL and their significance for the course were further explained by the Staff Officer I (A/Q) Lieutenant Colonel B.G Ariyawansha.

The Chief Instructor, Senior Instructors, Staff Officer I (A/Q), Members of the Faculty, Members of the Permanent Staff and the SNCOs of the school participated in the inaugural event.
