The Officers’ Par Excellence Course (OPEC) - No 4 of the Sri Lanka Army that would enable Officers to keep abreast of all modern developments in the world as regards their military knowledge concluded at the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) on Monday (1).
This new Course saw its birth as a conceptual notion of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake in the recent past and turned popular among Officers.
Accordingly, 44 Officers serving in all formations under the SFHQ-J followed the Course on the instructions of Major General Dharshana Hettiarrachchi, Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna.
The closing certificate awarding ceremony took place at the SFHQ-J auditorium in the presence of Major General Roshan Seneviratne, General Officer Commanding, 51 Division who attended as the Chief Guest. Directorate of Training facilitated the supply of external resource personnel for lectures to the Course attendees.
