The Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna donated an Oxygen Concentrator to the Thellippalai Base Hospital for the use of COVID-19 patients in an emergency.
The Commanding Officer of 4 Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps, Major Chinthana Kumara officially handed over the Oxygen Concentrator to Dr. P Thileepan, Medial Superintendent at Tellippalai Base Hospital on Tuesday (5).
This donation programme was undertaken on the directions of the Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna and District Coordinator COVID - 19 Control and Prevention in Jaffna, Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku.
Oxygen Concentrators for the use of COVID-19 victims and other patients have been granted to the Sri Lanka Army by the American Sri Lanka Foundation.
