Pooneryn-based 66 Division-constructed new open theatre at the 66 Division Headquarters premises was opened on Friday (12) during a simple ceremony.
The theatre, open to both servicemen and civilians in the area will every Wednesday and Saturday screen films for entertainment, free of charge, beginning at 6.00 p.m. on both days.
The construction, done by Army troops will facilitate further promotion of goodwill and reconciliation between the Security Forces and the civilians living in this remote area.
