The 2nd Tamil Language Course in the year ended on June (10) at the Security Force Headquarters- Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) where 24 Other Ranks followed.
To be in line with the instructions of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Crisanthe De Silva, Tamil language course was launched on May (2) for the Army personnel who serving at the SFHQ-KLN.
The awarding ceremony was held at the Army Institute of Physical Training (AIPT) School at Barathipuram where course students staged their linguistic talents in Tamil.
Colonel M.A Izadin, Commander, 572 Brigade was the day’s Chief Guest. He distributed certificates among the students who followed the course.
Private H.M.M Lakshan of 4 Military Intelligence Corps (MIC) got the 1st place in the Course while Sapper A.M.S.S Gunasekara of 11 Corps of Engineer Services (CES) and Private W.A.M Senavirathne of 9 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment 9 (VIR) won the second and third places, respectively.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks, students in the course participated in the awarding ceremony.
