Old Royalist at Army Request Sponsors Award of Dry Rations to the Needy in Haputale

A sponsorship granted by an old Royalist, based in the US enabled troops of the Security Forces-Central at the request of Major General Samantha Silva, Commander, Security Forces-Central to give away 200 dry ration packs to villagers in Haputale-Gonamatawa village on Sunday (10).

US-based Mr Anuk, an old boy of Colombo Royal College offered his sponsorship for this worthy cause at the request of the Commander, Security Forces-Central.

Few senior officers, including the Commander, Security Forces- Central attended the distribution programme, together with few Officers and Other Ranks.
