No Deaths Reported in Past 24 Hours

As of this morning (3), a total of 211 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. 28 Sri Lankan expatriates and 183 of those positive cases are locally-identified ones, including the majority 35 from Gampaha District, 32 from Colombo district, 21 from Jaffna district and 95 others from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (3), a total of 93,127 persons, inclusive of 88,793 of the fish market and Minuwangoda Brandix cluster have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 89,700 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 2,856 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centers.

In the past 24 hours, 294 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres. No more deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country rose to 571 by this morning (3).

As of this morning (3), 9,050 persons in 96 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (2) 5,427 PCR tests have been conducted. Buy Kicks | Nike SB
