Newly recruited 25 Army Tamil woman soldiers, who are undergoing recruit training course No.2 which is on process under the supervision of 6 Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC) under command to Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) participated for familiarization tour to the South recently.
They visited very significant places in Colombo where they have never been in their life time such as National Museum, Nelum Pokuna, Galle Face and National Zoological Gardens during their stay in Colombo.
This three-day tour organized with the intention of refreshing the minds of recruit women and giving the exposure to the places in the country which will be helpful for their future career.
The commanding officer, 6 SLAWC, officers and instructors ware participated for this familiarization tour.
