Newly Appointed Jaffna Security Force Commander Makes His First Formal Visit to 52 Division

Major General Priyantha Perera who recently assumed duties as the 25th Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna made his maiden field visit to the 52 Division Headquarters on Monday (25).

The Security Force Commander was warmly welcomed by the General Officer Commanding, 52 Division, Major General Kithsiri Liyanage after awarding a Guard Turnout. The visiting Commander planted a sapling to mark his first visit and then posed for a group photograph. Afterwards, the General Officer Commanding conducted a comprehensive briefing on the area of 52 Division’s responsibilities.

During the troops address, the Security Force Commander emphasized the need to maintain camp security, discipline of officers and other ranks, work life balance and to be alert to COVID- 19 developments in the country.
