The newly-appointed Commander, Security Forces - Wanni, Major General Priyantha Perera visited prominent religious places in the ancient Anuradhapura to pay his obeisance as a tradition on Tuesday (27).
There, he called on the Most Venerable Atamasthanadhipathi at Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi temple and incumbents at Ruwanweliseya, Mirisawetiya, Abhayagiriya, Thuparamaya, Lankaramaya, Isurumuniya and received their blessings.
