New QMG at Army Headquarters Takes over Duties

Major General Jagath Kodituwakku on Tuesday (19) took over duties as the 27th Quarter Master General (QMG) in the Quarter Master General Branch at the Army Headquarters.

The newly-appointed QMG signed an official document to signify the acceptance of the new office amid religious observances.

Prior to this new appointment, he served as the General Officer Commanding of the 66 Division.

He succeeds Major General Shantha Hewawitharana who retired from the Army recently.
