A newly built nursery at Malayalapuram with the financial support of Mr. S.K Nadan, a businessmen and with the manpower of the troops of the 9 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR), was declared open by Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander Security Forces Headquarters-Killinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) on Sunday (18).
It was organized under the supervision of Commander, 571 Brigade.
Students who were registered for admission were awarded gift parcels as incentives. General Officer Commanding 57 Division, Senior officers, Staff of the nursery and parents were also present at the ceremony.
