New Kilinochchi SF Commander Makes Formal Visits

The Commander Security Forces-Kilinochchi, Major General Harendra Ranasinghe made his maiden field visit to the Regional Ammo Dump, Multi-Functional Transmission Center at Kokavil and Quarantine Centres at Murukkandi and Bharathipuram on Wednesday (24).

At first, the Commander visited Regional Ammo Dump maintained by 6 SLAOC camp and closely inspected all dumps after the comprehensive briefiing submitted by the Commander 573 Brigade, Commanding Officer 6 SLAOC and Officer in charge of the dump complex was presented. The Kilinochchi Commander gave instructions for readjustments and to enhance the security of those dumps.

During the visit to the Multi-Functional Transmission Center in Kokavil, Commander Security Force Kilinochchi received a briefing on role and tasks, functioning of the Signal Base Workshop and the security of Multi-Functional Transmission Center. Afterwards, the Commander visited quarantine centers at Murukkandi and Barathipuram and inspected the matters related to administration and security.

General Officer Commanding of the 57 Division Major General Priyantha Jayawardane, Brigadier Admin and Quartering, Brigade Commanders of 571 and 573 Brigade and other Senior Staff Officers in the Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi, Commanding Officers of 9th Sri Lanka Signals Corps and 6th Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps also joined the tour. short url link | Women's Nike Superrep
