New Jaffna Commander Makes Courtesy Calls on Religious Dignitaries

Major General Priyantha Perera who assumed duties as the 25th Commander, Security Force - Jaffna paid homage to Sri Nagavihara Temple and Nallur Kovil in Jaffna on Wednesday (20).

He made courtesy calls on the Chief Incumbent at Sri Nagavihara Temple, Ven. Meegahajandure Sri Vimaladeva Thero and the Chief Priest at Nallur Kovil, Maikundal Swami Kurukkal respectively. Then he met the Bishop of Jaffna Diocese Rt. Rev. Dr. Justin B Gnanapragasam and received his blessings.
