New HQ Building at Kuttigala Trade School Opened

The newly-constructed HQ building at Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC) Trade School in Kuttigala was opened on Friday (29) by Major General Kumara Handunmulla, Director General Financial Management and Colonel Commandant of the SLAGSC Regiment on the invitation of Lieutenant Colonel M.K.S.S De Silva, Commandant at Trade School who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Amidst 'Seth Pirith' chanted by members of the Maha Sangha, the Chief Guest cut a ribbon, unveiled a plaque and lit the traditional oil lamp along with senior officers including Brigadier Chanaka Mettananda, Director Budget and Finance, Brigadier Palitha Hewawasam, Director Pay and Records, Brigadier Saliya Padmashantha, Director Army Benevolent Fund, Colonel Priyantha Abeysinghe, Centre Commandant of the SLAGSC Regimental Centre, officers and other rankers of the Trade School SLAGSC attended the event.
