Newly constructed Holiday Bungalow for Other Ranks of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) was declared open by the Commander Logistic Command and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General Ranjan Premalal on Thursday (7) at Regimental Centre, Polhengoda with the invitation of the Commanding Officer Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Colonel Ravindra Abeysighe.
The brainchild behind the construction was the Colonel Commandant, together with the Commandant Officer - SIU and Senior Officers of SLCMP. The Bungalow was built using locally arranged resources by the troops of SIU.
Unveiling of the plaque of the Bungalow followed by a troop address and all ranks tea. The Provost Marshal Brigadier Anil Illangakoon, the Centre Commandant Colonel Lakshman Bamunsinghe, few Senior Officers and few Other Ranks also attended for the event.
