Brigadier Srinath Ariyasinghe of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment assumed office as officiating Director General of Directorate of Infantry at the Army Headquarters on Wednesday (1) in a simple ceremony.
The newly-appointed Director General symbolized the formal acceptance of the new office by signing an official document.
Staff Officers and Other Ranks serving the Directorate attended the occasion.
