Brigadier K.M.S Kumara on Friday (15) took over duties as the 21st Director Engineer Services in the Directorate of Engineer Services (DES) at the Army Headquarters.
The newly-appointed Senior Officer signed an official document to signify the acceptance of the new office amid religious observances.
He was the Centre Commandant at Regimental Centre CES before taking over this new appointment. He succeeds Major General Rathnasiri Ganegoda, the new Commander Forward Maintenance Area-Mullaittivu.
