New Chief Signal Officer Takes Office at Army HQ

Major General Lalith Herath assumed duties as the new Chief Signal Officer (CSO) of the Sri Lanka Army in his office at the Army Headquarters on Friday (3).

Amidst religious observances and ‘Seth Pirith’, Major General Lalith Herath placed his signature in an official document and signified the acceptance of the new appointment.

Prior to this appointment, Major General Lalith Herath held the appointment as Deputy Commandant, Defence Services Command and Staff College, Sapugaskanda, Sri Lanka.

He suceeds Major General Ashoka Peiris who just retired from the Army.
