Nagara Wewa Students Given School Accessories

A stock of school bags, shoes, books and other educational accessories, needed for low income families in Nagara wewa area in Hambantota were made available to needy students, following generosity extended by the VS Information Systems (Pvt) Ltd.

Troops of the 12 Division located in Hambantota initiated the project on Saturday (20) and gave away those incentives after gathering students to the 12 Division HQ. The brief distribution ceremony saw representatives of the sponsors and a group of Army personnel joining the arrangement where all attendees were entertained to refreshments.

Major General Prasanna Ranawaka, General Officer Commanding, 12 Division directed his troops to make arrangements in this regard.
