8 Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA) troops of the 643 Brigade of the 64 Division under the Security Force HQ-Mullaittivu with sponsorship received from a donor distributed a large consignment of school accessories among students at Muthiyankaddukulam South Bank School in Oddusuddan on Monday (11).
Mr. Suren Malcum De Silva at the request of Colonel Rajitha Premathilaka, the 643 Brigade Commander offered his generosity and this civil-military cooperation project was closely supervised by the commanding officer of 8 SLA troops who screened the deserving students for the receipt with the help of school authorities.
The distribution was attended by the 643 Brigade Commander, 8 SLA Commanding Officer and several teachers.
