A record number of about 5000 fans, representing all walks of life in Mullaittivu recently enjoyed the ‘Mullaittivu Gee Nada’ musical show, organized by the 59 Infantry Division in Mullaittivu on January (29).
Tamil singers and movie stars coloured the evening backed by the popular Shakthi band. Dance performers from schools in the area added variety to the spectacle and provided entertainment to the whole evening.
Gokulan, the popular star in ‘Selvam’ who was also present on the occasion provided amusement to the spectators. The evening was full of fun. Brigadier G.R.H Dias, General Officer Commanding, 59 Infantry Division and several other senior officers enjoyed the evening with civilians.
