MINUSMA’s Force Commander Compliments Sri Lankan Troops

During a recent visit to the Headquarters Sector East by the Force Commander - MINUSMA, Lieutenant General Dennis Gyllensporre, the Sri Lanka Army Combat Convoy Company (LKACCC) Contingent Commander Lieutenant Colonel Srinath Gallage was called on to the office and appreciated tasks, being performed by the LKACCC.

Further, the Force Commander said he was amazed to see how LKACCC executes its assigned task amidst deteriorating security situation and moving thorough areas where the enemy is ever intensifying its all efforts and activities indifferent forms to interfere with MINUSMA realizing its mission.

In addition, he highlighted that he is surprised in what manner LKACCC executed and accomplished its Convoy Escort Operations with no harm and securing the lives of the civilians and vehicles including UN consignments.

To conclude, he insisted that, he as a Force Commander, is delighted with the professionalism and disciplines at all aspects being maintained and also the performances of the Sri Lanka Army in the Tour of Duty in the MINUSMA.
