The change-over of the President’s ceremonial guard at the President’s House and the Temple Trees from Sri Lanka Air Force to Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police(SLCMP), took place this morning (1) at a brief ceremony in front of the President’s House at Colombo Fort.
Sri Lanka Air Force troops after serving a period of 6 months handed over those ceremonial duties to the troops of SLCMP after signing formal documents to that effect.
The brief ceremony saw the troops exchanging greetings towards the end of the event.
