‘Guna Jaya Sathuta Padanama’ (Goodness Foundation) once again launched its humanitarian assistance project, distributing a large stock of school accessories among students who are residing at the Poonagala Relief Center on Monday (19).
During the event, 80 students who lost their inhabitants due to the recent landslide in Koslande-Meeriyabedde were given gift parcels containing school accessories, shoes and uniforms, plus a cheque to the value of Rs 1000/=.
Mr Kushil Perera, Managing Director, ‘Goodness Foundation’ and a few of his officials, Commanding Officer of the 7 Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC), students, parents and teachers participated in the distribution ceremony.
It was organized on the directions of Major General Mano Perera, Commander, Security Force Headquarters, Central.
