A stock of medical equipment and other accessories for the use of COVID-19 victims and other patients at Mullaittivu, gifted by members of the Colombo-YMBA was handed over to Dr. K Vasudewa, Director at District General Hospital Mullaittivu by on Friday (10).
The stock worth of Rs 350,000/= including 05 Hand Held Pulse Oximeters, 04 Non- Breather Masks, 4 Oxygen Connectors, 6 CPAP Masks, 10 Venturi Masks, 1 Syrige Pump, 1 Infusion Pump,1 Pulse Oximeter and 1 Oxygen Concentrator was coordinated by Ven. Tissapura Gunarathana Thera, Incumbent, Sri Sambodhi Temple, Kokilai through Major General G.D Sooriya Bandara, General Officer Commanding, 59 Division and Brigadier Wasantha Palama Kumbura, Commander, 593 Brigade.
Brigadier Wasantha Palama Kumbura, Commander, 593 Brigade, Army Officers and hospital staff were also present at the occasion.
