Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage, New MGO Assumes Office

Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage, the newly appointed, Master General Ordnance (MGO) of the Army, assumed office on Thursday (22).

Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage, prior to this new appointment served as the Military Liaisons Officer in the Ministry of Defence (MoD).

Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage signed an official document symbolizing the assumption of office after religious observances.

Several senior officers attended the event.
