A Guard Turn Out plus a Guard of Honour saluted the outgoing Commander, Security Force Headquarters-West (SFHQ-West) Major General Sumeda Perera on Wednesday (21) at SFHQ-West grounds at Panagoda.
Major General Sumeda Perera is to assume duties as the new Director General General Staff at Army Headquarters shortly after relinquishing his appointment as the Commander SFHQ-West.
General Officers Commanding in 14 and 53 Divisions, 141, 142, 143, 532 and 583 Brigade Commanders, Centre Commandants at Panagoda, Commanding Officers and others who were present posed for a group photo afterwards before Major General Perera took leave of them.
