Major General K.A.M.G Kularathna (Retd) of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) passed away at his residence in Wattala on Thursday (14) following a brief illness. He was 77 years of age.
He was the 1st Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police and held the appointments of Commanding Officer 1 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Director Welfare, Provost Marshal, Officiating Logistic Commander, Commander 33 Brigade, Commander 32 Brigade and the Adjutant General of the Army Headquarters.
His remains are now lying at ‘The Respect’ parlour at Jayarathne funeral Directors at Borella. Funeral arrangements with full military honours will take place at 5.00 pm on Sunday (17) at Borella - General Cemetery.
