23 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) troops under the 682 Brigade of 68 Division in the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) provided assistance to the annual ‘Kumba Abitheshan Pooja’ at Ulaganandra Pulliyar Kovil, Warnavil, Puthukkudiyirippu. It was held during five days (Aug 27 - 31).
On Monday (25) in parallel with the Kovil Pooja, a Sharmadana campaign was conducted to clear the surroundings of the Kovil premises and the area by Army personnel, including Brigade Commander, 682 Brigade, together with members of the general public in the area.
