KLN Commander Organizes Workshop to Educate Troops on GIS Operations

Under the guidance of the Commander Security Forces- Kilinochchi Major General Harendra Ranasinghe, organized a two-day long workshop to educate troops on Geographic Information System (GIS), and its related applications during 30- 31 March at Ranaviru Information Technology Training Institute at Kokavil.

The workshop discussed programmes, based on mapping and data storing systems as practical aspects. Brigadier (Record & Planning) Research, Analysis, Projection and Development Branch, Brigadier S.D Udayasena conducted the workshop.
