Basketball players of Kilinochchi Tamil Maha Vidyalaya during an exhibition tournament, played well with their players of the Army’s Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC), following arrangements, organized by the Security Forces Headquarters, Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN).
With the objective of further promoting the goodwill between the Security Forces and civilians, the tournament took place at the SFHQ-KLN grounds after an introductory lecture on the importance of this game and its rules.
The tournament, a proposal made by Major General Crishantha De Silva, Commander, SFHQ-KLN, was witnessed by senior officers, school students and a gathering of other ranks in the Army. It took place on Wednesday (18).
