57 Division Headquarters in Kilinochchi with the objective of improving sports skills of Kilinochchi school children donated a large stock of cricket and sports accessories for the use of Kilinochchi Madya Maha Vidyalaya during a brief ceremony in the school premises.
The consignment consisted of two Side Screens, one Score Board, two Players Dugouts, Boundary Rope and several other sports accessories.
At the end of the ceremony, 57 Division treated teachers and students to a tea party. Kilinochchi Zone Education Director, Mr K Murugavel, Kilinochchi Madya Maha Vidyala Principal, Mr M Ravindran, 57 Division General Officer Commanding, Brigadier T.S Bansajaya, 571 Brigade Commander, Senior Officers, teachers and students attended the occasion.
