The annual Vesak commemoration in Jaffna ‘Yapa Patunai-Dhaham Amavai 2014’, organized by the troops serving the Security Force Headquarters-Jaffna (SFHQ-J), is to get underway during May 14-20.
The decorative arrangements include a pandol of 60,000 electric lights, decorations, free eating houses and different colourful events. Organizers expect large crowds of sight-seers during the period.
