Jaffna Commander Shares Views with District Secretary

The recently - appointed Commander - Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General Chandana Wijesundara made a courtesy visit to the Jaffna District Secretariat on 4 July 2022 and exchanged views on the administrative matters of general concern in the peninsula with Mr Kanapathipillai Maheshan, District Secretary for Jaffna.

District Secretary extending his best wishes to the new Jaffna Commander assured the Security Forces of all support for maintenance of smooth state administration in the region while closely collaborating with all village level administrators including Grama Seva officials. The discussions also centred on possibilities of further promotion of reconciliation, promotion of welfare roles and civil-military cooperation.
