Island-wide PCR Tests Cross 275, 590 by Friday Morning - NOCPCO

As of this morning (25), 09 persons who arrived from overseas were confirmed positive to COVID-19. They are from Maldives (01) at Damminna QC, Iran (02) at Kalpitiya QC, Dubai (01) at Rajagiriya Ayurveda QC and Qatar (03) at Rajagiriya and Viddatthapalai QCs and from Kuwait (02) at Sampoor QC, states the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By 6.00 this morning (25), the total number of detainees in quarantine at Kandakadu and Senapura Treatment and Rehabilitation Centres for Drug Addicts stands at 650. The flight EK 648 from Dubai with 53 passengers, the flight QR 668 from Doha with 03 passengers and the flight UL 455 from Naita, Japan with 04 passengers have arrived in Colombo. All of those passengers were referred to Quarantine Centres, managed by tri-services after formalities at the airport.

Within the day (25), 66 quarantined individuals after PCR tests are set to leave for their homes. Of them, 4 persons were from Nipuna Boossa QC, 01 from Kalpitiya Ruwala QC, 06 from Jetwing Lagoon QC, 08 from Rajagiriya Ayurveda QC, 01 from Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps QC, 39 from Hotel Dolphin QC, and 07 more persons from Jetwing Blue QC.

Likewise, 44,788 individuals by this morning (25) have been sent back home after quarantining. As of this morning (25), 6,562 persons in 68 tri-service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (24), 1612 PCR tests were carried out across the country and the total PCR tests conducted so far stands at 275,590.

Meanwhile, 11 positive COVID-19 cases after full recovery left hospitals early this morning (25). All of them are expatriates.

By 6.00 this morning (25), the total number of detainees in quarantine at Kandakadu and Senapura Treatment and Rehabilitation Centres for Drug Addicts stands at 646. Of them, 04 infected individuals are still under treatment.

Since no positive cases have been reported from society other than among those arriving from overseas, all Sri Lankans are urged to continue their health practices and help prevention of its transmission as per instructions given by health authorities. (Ends).spy offers | 『アディダス』に分類された記事一覧
