The finals of the Inter Division Basketball Championship-2022 of the Security Force Headquarters –Mullaithvu got underway on Monday (14) at the basketball court of the SFHQ-MLT.
Major General Sanjaya Wanasingha, Commander Security Forces- Mullaittivu as the Chief Guest witnessed the finals.
After a neck to neck tussle, players in 64 Division emerged as champions of this year. The 68 Division was the runner-up. Staff Sergeant BMA Pushpakumara of 23 VIR was awarded as the best player of the event.
Major General Upul Weerakoon, General Officer Commanding 64 Division closely supervised the games this year.
The chief guest and other senior officers joined distribution of trophies and certificates to the winners.
