The visiting members of the Indian Parliamentary delegation, headed by Lok Sabha opposition leader, Ms Sushama Swaraj, as part of their itinerary, visited the internally displaced civilians at Settikulam Relief Village on Wednesday (18).
The delegation freely met a section of those internally displaced people and inquired into their well-being and requirements, if any before they moved to see the resettled at Kombavil.
Minister Gunaratna Weerakoon, Ms G.S.M Charles, District Secretary for Vavuniya, Major General A.K.S Perera, Commander Security Forces Headquarters, Wanni (SFHQ-W), Brigadier D.M.D.C.D Gunawardena, Brigadier General Staff, SFHQ-W were associated with the visit.
