The recent Indian Parliamentary delegation, headed by Lok Sabha opposition leader, Ms Sushama Swaraj, as part of their itinerary, visited resettled people in Puttur, north of Vavuniya area and renovated Koorisuddakulam tank, together with Hon Minister of Economic Development and Senior Presidential Advisor, Mr Basil Rajapaksa and a few others.
Major General G.A Chandrasiri (Retd), Governor for Northern Province, Ms P.S.M Charles, District Secretary for Vavuniya, Brigadier N.A.P.C Napagoda, General Officer Commanding 56 Division and a few other administrators accompanied the delegation.
