A workshop to educate Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers and Staff Officers serving under command to the Security Force HQ Kilinochchi on ‘Military in Internal Security Operations’ got underway at the Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi on Wednesday (10).
This workshop was conducted on the instructions, given by the Commander Security Forces- Kilinochchi Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda through the coordination of the Directorate of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law.
The ICRC Regional Armed and Security Forces Delegate Brigadier (Retired) Jacques Lemay, ICRC Regional Armed and Security Forces Programme Adviser Mr Channa Jayawardena and ICRC Head of sub delegation- Vavuniya Mr Patrick Moreaw educated the gathering.
