In the recently concluded Inter Regiment Rugby Tournament, Gemunu Watch (GW) ruggerites outdid their rivals, Gajaba Regiment (GR) players under ‘B’ Division championship, securing 13-7 points.
GW winners received the championship trophy from the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya who graced the occasion as Chief Guest at Diyagamam Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium.
Corporal D.S Handapangoda of Gemunu Watch was adjudged the Best Player in the division sector.
