The 'Gajaba Unity Festival – 2024' and Trade Fair is set to take place from 28 August to 01 September 2024 at Kadol Kale Stadium, Negombo, organised by the Gajaba Regiment in collaboration with the Gajaba Veterans Association. A media conference to raise awareness about the Festival was recently held at the Ministry of Defence with the participation of Major General Udaya Perera (Retd), Chairman of the Gajaba Veterans Association Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B. Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander Security Force (Jaffna) and the members of the Gajaba Veterans Association.
The festival will feature educational exhibitions, various stalls, fun games, Army displays, and unique musical performances by popular singers. The proceeds from the event will be dedicated to empowering Gajaba veterans, supporting the welfare of their families, and aiding the families of War Heroes who were disabled and killed in action.
