Foreign Students at ASL & Family Members Tour South

Foreign student officers at the Army School of Logistics (ASL) in Trincomalee, together with their family members were taken on a familiarization tour to the Southern part of the country during 21 - 25 February.

The picnic was organized for those Bangladesh and Nepal foreign students by the Commandant, Army School of Logistics, Brigadier J.A.R.S.K Jayasekara and the Staff.

During the tour, the student officers and their families witnessed places of cultural, religious and natural interests and enjoyed other pleasure activities. A boat trip in Madu River, a visit to the Turtle Hatchery, Galle Fort, Galle National Museum and the Maritime Museum, Ridiyagama Safari Park, Birds’ Research Center, Madunagala Hot Springs and the Solar Cultivation Project were included.

Further, they had the chance of enjoying Sri Lankan culinary preparations as well as different varieties of Sri Lankan sweet-meats.
