Extending an appreciative gesture, the leading dairy products manufacturer, ‘Fonterra Brands Lanka Private Ltd’ this afternoon (6) donated a consignment of 10,000 cans of pasteurized milk for distribution among troops, engaged in the control of COVID-19 virus in the country.
Mrs Vidya Sivaraja, Managing Director, Sri Lanka and Indian Subcontinent of the company, together with a few company representatives, Mr Dinith Pathirana, Category Manager, Anchor, Mrs Thamari Senanayake, Associate Director Cooperate Affairs, Mr Roshan de Silva, General Manager, Sri Lanka Consumer Sales, Food Services and Emerging Markets called on Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army at the Army Headquarters and handed over the stock expressing their appreciation of the roles being performed by tri service troops in the fight against the virus and other related tasks, such as maintenance of Quarantine Centres, etc.
