Five More Expatriates in Quarantine Confirmed Positive to COVID 19-NOCPCO

The Flight No QR 668 from Doha with an embassy official, together with family members (4) passengers arrived in Sri Lanka and The Flight No UL 202 from Bahrain with 294 passengers and UL 102 from Maldives with 120 passengers will arrive in Sri Lanka this morning (05). All of them will be sent to Quarantine Centres (QCs), managed by tri services for necessary quarantine process, a statement issued this morning (05) by the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) stated.

118 individuals after completion of the quarantine process at Punani QC will leave for their homes today (05) after conduct of PCR tests and with Quarantine Certificates.

By today (05), a total of 18,553 quarantined individuals from tri service-managed QCs have left for their homes. As of now, 6,208 persons are in quarantine in 50 island-wide QCs, run by tri services.

By this morning (0600 am), five (5) expatriates in quarantine in Quarantine Centres were confirmed positive to COVID-19. Similarly, 22 individuals, 15 overseas-based Sri Lankans and 07 heroic sailors after recovery left hospitals today (05), the statement ended. Authentic Sneakers | Nike News
