Minister of External Affairs Hon G.L Peiris on Friday (12) toured Kilinochchi area with the intention of receiving an update on development work in progress.
During his stopover at Security Forces Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN), the Minister had a discussion with state officials, tri-service and Police personnel and received a comprehensive knowledge on ongoing infrastructure development projects.
District Secretary for Kilinochchi, Divisional Secretaries, state officials, Commander, SFHQ-KLN, Kilinochchi Senior Superintendent of Police, Commanding Officer at Nachchikuda Naval Detachment, Commanding Officer, Iranamadu Air Force Camp, General Officers Commanding, Brigade Commanders, Unit Commanding Officers and many others joined the discussion.
An exchange of mementos with the visiting Minister culminated the day’s itinerary.
