The Exercise Combat Hiker Excursion organized by the Air Mobile School under the 53 Division on the instructions of the General Officer Commanding, 53 Division Major General Nishantha Manage got underway during 10 -11 February at Knuckles' Forest Reserve area.
The first phase from Kiwulwadiya to Meemure on Wednesday (10) and the second phase from Meemure to Babarella began on Thursday (11) covering 45 km with the participation of 53 Division troops, Air Mobile Brigade, 532 Brigade and 533 Brigade troops.
