Evacuation of Flood Victims by 52 Infantry Division

Under the direction of Major General P.R Pathiravithana USAWC psc, General Officer Commanding of 52 Infantry Division, and the supervision of Brigadier M.H.R. Fernando RWP RSP USP, Commander, 521 Infantry Brigade, the troops of 52 Infantry Division successfully evacuated flood victims from the Katkowalam and Pulidanagar areas.

The displaced individuals, comprising 45 members from 25 families were relocated to the IDP Centre established at the Katkowalam Methodist Mission Mix Tamil School.
